Importance of art
Art is an indispensible element in today’s society. Art cannot be defined in a certain way because it touches many areas. Art could be a hobby, style or even the personality of a person. There are various kinds of art, like music, sculpting, painting, literature etc. The important part is to know that all of these arts require creative output from the artist.
Some people have a misconception that an artist is the one who does creative stuff connected to his/her intellectual chase. These views have developed in the recent past. If you look at it, there were great inventors and scientist in the past; they were artist in their own ways. I work for the Diesel Aberdeen and I sometimes wonder when I see the kind of machinery that are involved to extract natural minerals and get them to be separated and used for different purposes. It is an art in itself.
I believe all of us have something within us that makes us an artist. It is about that one skill or interest that gives you the ability to do better than others. When that skill is carried out with passion and training it will enhance the art and thereby a full fledged career could be attained. Art gives you the mental satisfaction of attaining something that you like to do. It is a way through which an individual expresses his thoughts and actions without any reservation. Many people fail to comprehend their skills and ability until it’s too late.
We need to motivate and encourage young and old to bring out the skills that are hidden within them. The kids of this generation need to know the significance of creativity and art. This will help the children to cultivate confidence, maturity and creativeness. We need to expose kids to drawing, music and other extracurricular activities, which will in fact enhance the brain of the child. Schools are the procreation ground for the future film makers, painters, singers, musicians and these artists should be encouraged and nurtured to bring the best out of them.
